i also realised something last night, while chatting with felicia(yap)[then i realised i knew alot of felicias). and its that sometimes, or most of the time, as people age, they tend to be more logical than faithful. it turns out that at the time i declared that i wanted to go thru wit this faith test, i received remarks like "just go to the dentist" "this kinda stuff no need miracles" "God will only give miracles to those who need them" "just do the most logical thing"
ok, first of all, i wanna say God did not allow us to suffer, he only permitted us to suffer. and that miracles can happen to anyone. not only to those poor or those without logical solutions to their answers. c'mon man, people have told me many different things, like for instance, someone having their leg grow back a few centimeters, or having dengue fever just removed from them like that. dengue fever has logical solutions, but why does God still perform miracles like that?
now comes to the big check question, are we as Christians becoming less and less faithful in the things we do or in God, are we being less and less dependant on the Father in heaven? are we always giving ourselves excuses not to listen to God, not to let God have a chance to do something and just rely on our own personal methods to overcome the situations we are in? think about it. God will only move when we allow him to move in our lives, he won't come down here and tell ya "hey, let me do something or i'll smite you." instead, its the simple childlikeness and faithfullness of the Christian that pleases God. Are You letting God work?
