right, now after sleeping from 10am, when i got home to 7pm when i woke up for the 2nd consecutive time, its time for a more detailed post about what happened. although i'm still kinda fatigued from the cycling.. then its dinner and sleep again. haha.
okay. night cycling part.
it was very very enjoyable, every part of it. cept of the pain though. haha. we cycled past alot of different places, some places were very peaceful in the night, especially those "deserted areas" like those warehouses, the Changi Airport stirp of road, the bedok reservior, the road next to the highway, and the neighbourhood area of tampines.
cycled on different types of paths too, tarmac, gravel, grass,soil. got to see different kinds of night life, the national service men marching, the airplanes taking off, taxis speeding, the Changi Village night life. it was totally awesome. went up slopes and down slopes, at high speeds and slow speeds. even racing others on the road. doing funny stuff. chit chat at some spots, stopped for water breaks. 40km in 7hrs 15mins, record for myself, never have i done it before.. haha. now i just wish every night was like this, just without the pain. xD
that's for the cycling. now the stuff that happened after that.
kinda had a nice sharing talk with Kaiyun after that, which last about an hour or so. was kinda enouraging, and made me realise lots of stuff too. personal, so i'll not reveal on this blog. talked mostly about my relationship, with God, and the spiritual growth of others in the church, and other churches, about rising up to become a leader, learning to take setbacks and not let disappointments pull you down.
yup. that's about it. overall rating for the September holidays, 8/10.
although my plans for enjoyment turned out dire, i still had fun times. even productive times, going out, interacting with friends and classmates, night cycling and even doing homework and studying. yup. during this holidays God made me realise alot of things. that i still had something to let go of. i know what's that. also wrote up the next two chapters of my Novel during the holidays, learnt abit more photoshop, and joked alot with the closer friends. ah, if only life could be like this all the time. Praise the Lord for all the things that have happened during the holidays. Halleilujah!
Prelims when school reopens. Gotta watch out. haha. right, that's all for now. gonna enjoy service tomorrow, also feel like catching up with some friends that i haven't been talking to lately. =) God Bless. signing off.
