well. i'm kinda making up for this post since i accidentally deleted it. basically, this post is about the YCYPAO family day. haha.
woke up kinda early today, dragged myself out of bed and went to prepare. then reluctantly went down to the bus stop to meet up with Ivan and Melvin. then we headed for west coast park(wcp). along the way, we met PeiQi on the bus playing Pokemon on her gameboy.
reached there, had a light lunch, and went to join my group for the day, John. haha. actually didn't really feel like going there to participate in the activities since it was like, running around the field and the like. halfway thru, Ivan and Melvin went back, since both of them slept at 9.30am and 8.30am respectively. a short while later, Ben appeared. then i kinda let myself loosen up abit, and began to enjoy the games.
people i can rmbr who were in my grp are, Alvin, Jessica, Wayne, Samson, Kaiyee, Ben, Cerwin and 4 others whom i kinda forgot. haha. paiseh ah. not purposely wan.. haha. after that, took a group foto and finally took the cluster photo.
thru the games, actually learnt alot about Christian life. haha. lemmie elaborate on a few.
3-Legged Soccer
[1] God is always with you, not matter what.
[2] your family will always be there to support you, especially when you fall.
Dodgeball
[1] Satan will try every and any means neccessary to take you down, even resorting to using the people closest to you against you.
[2] No matter how you try to hide, the devil will always find a way to get you.
Tower Building Game - my group joined with the grp dat we were supposed to be competing against.
[1] We are all different portions of one body, thus we should work together to achieve greater stuff for God instead of competing against each other.
[2] we can make a collaborative effort with other churches to bring greater glory to God instead of focusing only on our own church strength.
yup. so that's that for the day. haha..
