finally got myself new shirts. too bad no pictures. both from Flesh Imp, one of which had a quite victorean print and the oter was just plain militarism. but both very nice. haha. got them while i was out with ben and keith at orchard today. or rather, my main purpose for going out was to get them. haha. walked around heeren first, then went to wisma atria's Flesh Imp store, since they didn't have the size for the shirt that i wanted at Heeren.
i was reading that book again. i'd promise to finish it by the end of this year. so i would. but finishing it isn't really the main purpose for me reading it. that'd be feasable but totally childish and unreasonable. i'd seriously recommend [Drawing Near] by author John Bevere to anyone interested in have a much more intimate relationship with God. it's a very nice read, and it also makes you realise quite alot of stuff that you yourself might not even know. so my take is, read it.
as i was reading yesterday. i realised that there are many Christians out there who seek God for what He can do(what He provides) instead of seeking God for what He really is(seeking His being). and i realised that I too have fallen into the first category sometimes. and that's where you shouldn't be. after all, God's not just your provider, but your Father as well. and He yearns to have intimacy with His children. so much so as to send His son to pay the price for our lives on calvary.
note: we shouldn't also seek the manifestation of God, eg. shaking, laughing, jumping, etc.

well.. i guess i've still got alot to learn, and I sure need guidance and teaching along the way. its a long road. and when i took it, i wasn't intending on going back. its all the way, no other options.
"Some say you were weak, that you gave in. But that's the story of my life. You gave all you had, just for me."
that's what we're talking about. a Father's love for His children. I know that in this time, alot of people aren't really gettin the chance to experience the Father's love for them. be it your earthly father or the Father in Heaven. sometimes, it just strikes up something within me, and sometimes i even tear when i look upon those who are in these situations. its like, you know that, you can experience and feel that love for yourself, yet there are people out there who aren't feeling what you're feeling, aren't experiecing what you're experiencing. and you just can't help but take pity on them and feel bad for them.
do you really wanna know what and how a Father's love for their children is like? you want a chance to see that? then come for the Magic of Love this 15th and 16th of december. the true essence of the Love of a father displayed through awe inspiring magic tricks and illusions and a touching storyline. It's something that you definitely can't miss. take it, come, and experience the love of a father for once this Christmas. you won't regret it. i assure you.
