here i am, pretending to be blogging at 11.58pm on the 30th of january. but in truth, i'm actually bloggin on the 31st of jan. haha, at 3.10pm. lol. well, what can i say, it's yesterday's post. lol.

found myself at the Mind Cafe yesterday, along with Dan, Gabriel, Jin Wei, Ryan, Li Rong and Steven Jr(in no particular order). so, besides spending the whole day at home thinking, watching naruto, listening to music and admiring the light that just shines into my room(lol? what the?), that's what i did. so here's a little more info about what happened at the cafe. haha. let the pictures tell the story.

although the going's abit tough, but it seems to me that the days are getting better. alas, the joy of the Lord has returned. haha. thank God, thank God! arigatō, otōsan.

yes, i'm in a very joyful mood today, although my hair didn't go out right for the day. guess it was another one of those out-of-bed look days. haha. it was SoL2 in the morning, with yixin. then had lunch, with junior and ben. then it was this amazing, awe inspiring service by a preacher by the name of Doug Lambert.

why was it inspiring? dumb qns, cuz God was working there! haha.
-Fear VS Faith -> choose where you put your confidence!
-where are you putting your faith in? God? or the thing that you're afraid of?
lemmie explain. putting faith in the thing you fear is shown by thinking that that thing is unbeatable/unconquerable/undeniable. whatever it is.
and my favourite out of all the points mentioned
->you're never gonna know if you don't step out and do it!
but God will always be there to pick you up when you fail. so trust him!

another thing is that when a person holds back something from God(says it's his and not God's) he prevents the whole body(of Christ; Church) from working together. like consider this huh. God, the Father, has given His most precious to us, His own flesh and blood, His Son, Jesus for us. He's done that, so why are we holding back even the slightest, not-that-precious thing from Him? food for thought. haha. you'll never know the wonders of God until you let go, and let God.

service was awesome, worship was awesome, the morning was awesome, lunch and dinner was awesome. but i reckon the next most awesome thing that happened today is this! read on. haha

after service, gab, daniel, samuel, yixin and a whole bunch of people were like just dancing around. lol, so i joined in. haha. and i came out learning the Baby Freeze! haha. yeah, after much determination, sweat and *ouch* falling down, i learnt the baby freeze! haha. yay! lol. super cool can. haha. for those who don't know, it's a B-boy(break dance) move(step). haha. now just working on the bouncing and handstand. lol. haha. love it, it's so fun lah! haha. just love it! haha.

ok, guess that's about it huh? yup. this week, looking forward to Sanctification Weekend and Trybe, Monfort Camp at Labrador Adventure Centre. haha. alright, God Bless you! have a great week. remember, you're never gonna know if you don't step out and do it! just try!

i seem to have not posted for quite some time have i. haha. well, here i am, humbled by the love that you gave, forgiven so that i can forgive. here i stand, knowing that i'm your desire, sanctified by glory and fire. and now, i've found, the greatest love of all, is mine. since you laid down your life, the greatest sacrifice. ok, went out of track there. just couldn't help it. haha. Delirious? rocks! well, i had quite a great week. been going out and going out and going out consecutively for a few days. haha. guess i really tired myself out during this period. oh well, i shall go thru a short recap of what i've done.

monday: i reckon i didn't relaly do much on this day. cept watch naruto. hmm. other than that, i don't remember. lol.

tuesday: ah, yes. went for dinner with alot of people. lol. inclusive of Min, Steven Jr., Ben, BingRong, LiRong, JinWei and Gabriel at Plaza Singapura. and had a fun time at the arcade after that. lol!

wednesday: Fairfield Methodist Trybe run round 2! again, matching up the oh-so-capable Trybe Facilitators against the oh-so-not-that-adorable fairfield methodist primary school kids. hmm, okay, maybe alil' exaggerated but, oh well. and then pool plus dinner at Marina Square with Min, Nic, Raffy and Steven Jr.

thursday: haha, it was an 'off day' for me. haha, well, in the end, spent my day watching Naruto again. haha. yeah.

friday: to Trybe centre! with Min and Bingrong. then went for CG. haha.

today: D2D, okay. i think short forms ain't gonna work huh. Dare to Dream Trybe run at Yuan Ching Sec. haha. it was kinda good. i mean, for yuan ching that is. haha. class wasn't that bad. yup. headed to Jurong Point for lunch after that, then watched the CHC service live online when i got home(also why i'm currently having the tune of [Majesty] stuck in my head. and they played it in chinese! magnificent i tell yeah. uber(super in german) cool!).

i guess i'm also hooked on the kanji letter for love, with is 'ai'(due to watching too much Naruto). haha. looks like how'd you write it in chinese, just abit more complicated.

okay. haha. felt really blessed this week cuz of the multiple outings, cell group and 'service'. haha. oh yes, Montfort camp, this weekend. hahaha!! ok, SOL2 tml, gee, gotta wake up early. haha. zZz.. nvm, finish it and i'm done. lol. yup. service tml!! yay! lol.. ok. enough. that's all for now.

i don't know. seriously. well, just posting my heart and guts out here on blogger huh? in case this becomes a totally ranting post, you may want to move your cursor over to the little red X there at the top ight hand corner and click that little red button there.

i am seriously gonna post a whole load of crap below after this paragraph. so, yeah. haha. here i go.

hmm, interesting questions i've asked myself these few days. what keeps a man going? is pushing yourself good? is there anything that i can strive for in this world? what am i holding on to? why am i even asking myself all this? interesting eh? well. i'm thinking too much. that's what i'm telling ya. hmm, i may not even be thinking. lol! well that's interesting. haha. seriously, if you're thinking i'm under stress or something, think again. yes, think again. haha.

well it would be nice if i could get some abilities outta the animes like Bleach or Naruto. like, let's see. hmm, Tajuu Kage Bunshin no Jutsu? hmm, interesting, i'd love that, multiple copies of myself, but nah. wouldn't really work. Getsuga Tenshou? well, that'd be good if ya wanna go on a rampage in the city, cutting up everything you see. but nah, not what i'm looking for. hmm, what else? Sabaku Taiso? in other words, the Desert Funeral. nah, wouldn't work without Desert Coffin. but it'd come in handy sometimes. haha. hmm, but otherwise, nah. wouldn't work either.

getting back to the drawing board
well, it seems like it's been awhile since i've been bloggin, so here i am, back at the drawing board.

i seem to be having quite a great time nowadays. haha, interestingly enough, yesterday, i was involved in yet another Trybe [You Can Do It] run, this time, with appearances of scholars from my group back at the Anglican House Camp, Bora and Yüng. had a great time intro-ing myself in Japanese, "misleading" the students to think that i was, and also just sharing my heart out at the end of the session.

today, it's more of a service day, although i woke up early to go for SOL2[School of Leaders(or as some would call it, Bible Study)]. so met up with Ven and headed for Bukit Merah. after that, met up with Ben and Melvin and headed for service.

today's message was for me, that was what i felt. more about knowing your place in God. as the "disciple that Jesus loved". yup. and about the heart of surrender, allowing God's reign over every area of your life. yup. after that, had a laugh-out-loud train ride back with BingRong, Ven, Joanne and Yingxin(hope i got it right)(+ my bros too(how could i leave you guys out)). really, you can laugh until you get six-pack man. haha.

overall, had an interesting and fruitful week, spending time with the spiritual family, volunteering at Trybe, laughing out loud, and last but not least, watching Naruto. haha.

today was my first ever Trybe run at a primary school. having the honor of being first in my list is Fairfield Methodist Primary School. and it also has the honor of making my first time a pleasant one.

a few reasons why i'm starting to love primary schools.
1)the kids are pretty innocent
2)students very enthu about stuff
3)students are very cute
& 4)because i can hang onto the basketball hoop

haha, ok, well the last reason isn't really that important but yeah. haha. it's just funny. well, overall, the class(5A) was great, fun and cute. haha. i'd take them again if i have to. haha.

following that, Me, Nic Sit, Gabriel and Steven Jr. headed for Marina Square for bowling. hada round, then changed to playing pool, then played House of the Dead 4. yup. really feel that i enjoyed myself today.

it seems that i've not properly explained myself in the previous two posts. haha. well, it's been an exciting week. thank God for everything that happened so far. no matter how good or how bad it is, every situation calls for thanksgiving.

so let's see, where shall i begin. in chronological order of course. haha. starting from Friday.

[Anglican House Camp]
hosted by Trybe, this is the 4th camp in a row that i've been to. yeap, 4 indeed. CCKS, FCBC Youth camp and Kranji Camp and now the Anglican House camp. why is it so interesting? cuz the people involved here ain't locals, but foreigners. coming from the Anglican House, somewhere up north, to Labrador Adventure centre. consisting of nationals from China, Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia. these guys were wonderful. another group of people that made me speechless.

a 2 day 1 night camp, on the first day, cabbed down with Min and Yixin thru the heavily pouring rain. the first day was all about the basic DISC and Teambuilding. in the night, Nic Sit, Yixin, Min and I went to Vivo City, to go to the 7-11 there. but unfortunately for us, it was closed, to headed for a Cheers along the way.

the 2nd day was the fun part. it was an amazing race around Sentosa. it was great man. haha. the group [Evolution] was so driven to get as much points as possible that they even skipped lunch to go finish up the activities. Evolution came in 2nd place, with 12500 points. you guys rock! haha.

Delirious? rocks! haha. on sunday, i was at City Harvest Church for service, with W330. i felt that i just had to go, like God placed upon me something that just told me if i didn't go, i'd regret. so i went, and truly enough, God really touched me during the worship. teared as the song played, a healing of my broken heart. that's what God wanted me there for. the service was great too. talking about how to be a New Singaporean. haha. enjoyed that.
after that, headed for my own service, where God had Dion pray for me. the word was that my friends needed me. yeah. it's really a joy to have God in your life. indeed. Praise the Lord.

this camp was great. the past 2day and 1night i was at the Labrador adventure centre for the Anglican House Teambuilding Camp. totally awesome and awestruck by their performance.

these people, of age ranging from Sec3(15) to JC2(18/19/20+) could only be described with one word. Awesome. they left me speechless once more. their maturity, willingness to listen, unity and actions totally left me speechless man. we(the facilitators) were like, ok lah. can pack bag go home le. haha. i mean, they could lead the groups themselves man. way cool.

sheesh, the rain's been pouring since last night. and it hasn't stopped yet. what the crap. in fact, it's getting heavier as time goes by. i sure am wondering how am i gonna go for the camp. haha. interestingly enough.

ooh. the rain stopped. currently the time is 11:19am. haha. but the sky still seems dark. well. just pray for the best. haha.

well, i'm going off for another camp again. Anglican School, but the camp's at labrador park. haha. i really should be thinking about resting right now. but oh well.

praise God that the polys only start in April. so i can go for more Trybe runs! haha. yay! lol.

went to catch another movie today, with Jasper and Bing Rong. Blood Diamond. i'd rather not elaborate. but it was a good movie. haha. pretty long, but it was a nice storyline. it was about the war in Africa, like some sort of civil war for the diamonds. yeah. the rest is for you to find out. but it was a nice movie nonetheless.. haha.

wow, time flies doesn't it? it's already 10days into the new year, and it just feels like yesterday that i was at the countdown. it seems that i can't keep up with time.

gah. haha. grr, can't watch them youtube videos on my laptop. grr, also means i can't watch naruto in the privacy of my room. dunno what javascript thingymagic, then keep askin me to install the new flash player which i already have.

hmm, need to get myself to sit down and think of what course i'd like to do. haha, also needa get a job, just for the working experience. haha. wonder whether i can or not. haha. man, i'm pretty tired out right now. camps, parties, church. not that i'm blaming it on these things, just that i am tired. haha. although i sure love to go for a few more camps and outings with friends. haha. yeap. i just love these kinda things. haha.

was at Vivo City with Jasper just now, went there to catch a movie, Death Note 2;The Last Name. it wasn't that bad, but it wasn't that good either.

just passed, cuz it followed the Manga to some extent, just that the ending was abit off, but it was nonetheless good.

it's the 2nd day i'm at Henderson Secondary for the Trybe You can do it! runs. this one was great. boy i'm tired. but i'm happy. haha. love it. =P

today's run was great, the students of 1N2, they rocked, although abit noisy. but they're great. haha. had a pleasant surprise when the students from yesterday came looking for me. haha. so cute they are. haha. today's class, was with Shaun Lee, Babe and Keren. yup.

after that, we ~Me, Min, BingRong, DaJie, Jaren and Daryl~went over to bukit merah for lunch. while we were there, we had a small little sharing session, where we shared about an incident that changed our lives. yup.

my incident was me knowing these 5 people, or rather, the 5 closest friends of mine, Min, Dajie, Jasper, Ben and Keith. like i was saying just now, if it wouldn't be for these few people, who patiently invested their time in a person that wasn't even related to them. at every point, telling me where i went wrong, showing me the way. who spared time for me even to talk crap over the phone when i was bored, to really show that care and concern that no one else showed me. indeed, these few, have really impacted me and changed my life. thanks also to Min, for what you said, that from the time you first knew me till now, you seen my life take a 180degree turn for the better. thanks. =) if it weren't for you guys, i don't think i'll be what i am today, i don't think i'll be the patient, kind, caring, and all the good things, person that i am today(not meaning to boast). well, really thank God for the 5 of you.

i'll be there for you guys when ya need me. and my wish is also that those that i'm there for be there for me too. another person that i wanna commend, and yes, i didn't forget about you, is Grace. haha. you're really one great sis. =D

yup. that's that for tonight. haha. gonna go get my camera. and man, i gotta stop napping on my com table. lol. that caused me to take more than an hour to finish this post. haha.

man, i'm rusty. haha. or at least my Trybe [You can do it] skills are. haha. lol. hmm, took Henderson Secondary's 1E3 today. woo, nice class. the lead was Keith. lol, damn funny, he gave himself an excuse to keep dancing across the room since we were in the dance studio. lol.

after the run, i got my feet on the court for the first time in months. man, the feel was great, but i guess my stamina ran low. haha. yup. oh well. haha. next time huh? lunch at Mos Burger Tiong Bahru with Min and Bing Rong, then headed to Cdan's to bowl. oooh, another thing that i haven't done in a long long time. haha. yeap. the experience was just great.

seriously, my day was real great. the word was for me today, that's what i felt. cuz i the morning, on the way to meet Keith, i was as per normal, listening to my mp3 player, playing worship songs, as normal. but i had this sudden question.

"Henzy David, can you really sing these words to God again?"

at that point of time, i was stunned. i knew i couldn't bring myself to say those words, i could, but not sincerely, unlike the first time that i heard and sang the song to God with all my heart and soul.

God is faithful. that was the word for me today. yes, a good start to a new year. =D
i believe a recommittment to God is necessary for me. yup. Í've been running by my own strength, on my own will for quite sometime now, unknowningly. now it's time that the prodigal son returned to his father. yea. time to rise up David. beloved child of God.

had dinner with Steven Jr, Keith and Ben at Wisma's Food Republic after service. before that, kinda walked around, window shopping. haha. yup. enjoyed the wonderful time of fellowshipping with them. and found out that Steven is a comic collector. wow! lol. interesting. haha.. ok.

oh ya, got a new shirt today, Christmas present from Ben. thanks bro. photos for it uploaded later. haha.

well, i didn't feel like bloggin today. haha. but something good happened, so it calls for a recording.

cell group today. really felt God touch me in a way, and comforted me for the things that i'm going thru now. i don't really show it, but i'm actually quite hurt deep down inside. kinda feel rejected and stuff. but then again, it could just be a spiritual attack. yup. i prefer to think it's the latter.

seriously, my greatest fear is to be alone, with no one to talk to. haha. why am i feeling this way? i thought guys ain't supposed to be like this? well, this guy can sometimes be pretty emotional. so it might be good to watch ur actions or choice of words when you're around him. lol, what am i talking about? just say what you like man.

haha. ok, enough of my crapping. today's CG was great, celebrated Anthony Khong's b'dae. had God forgive us of our sins, God touched me and conforted me, had a nice talk with Daryl, my cell leader. lol, ronghui, mr koh. haha. did i mention that the kranji camp was great. haha. but the last night was the greatest. haha. yup.

having known a few people thru the camp, the group that i was in, or was always together was Me, Min, Babe, Thomas, Bing Rong an Adrian. interesting. haha.

Day 2
the 2nd day of the camp was more of a personal etiqutte course. met up with Min at about 6plus, all dressed in smart casual attire and flagged a cab down to Kranji to join up with the rest of Tribe B. boy was everyone lookin smart. haha. it's a rare sight to see, people of our age fully dressed in a smart outfit. haha. help to carry the bags into the room, then headed over to Tampines North Community Centre to join up with the rest of the facilitators.

lunch was a 5 course meal at Jack's Place. it was for a fine dining experience. haha. and it turned out quite well, though the food wasn't that good. haha. mine was at Orchard road, other outlets include Yishun and Bras Basah. haha. after that, headed back to TNCC, debriefed, then headed over to Coasta Sands Resort Pasir Ris. checked in, dropped stuff, settled the group and then had our own free time.

Day 3
got up at around 4.30 am to do sentry duty. had the remaining two groups people with me at that point of time. then eat breakfast, clreaded up spot, really bloudment of my sorrows.

to tell you the truth, i shouldn't be here finishing up this post. but i don't know why but i just needed to finish it up.

to tell you the truth, i'm busted. totally overworked. i was in such a panic just now, didn't know what to do, or how to react to the situation. my head was spinning. my vision, so to say, blurred. my mind in a total mess. the pressure in my head was building up. sincerely, i didn't know what to do. i couldn't even rest well. at this juncture, i wanna thank Min, if it weren't for her, i don't know what i'll do. thanks sis. =)

Basically, the 3rd day was about getting back to Kranji sec from the Coasta sands resort. once arriving at school, the students were treated to a prize giving ceremony. then it was all over.

debriefinf for the facilitators. then went for dinner at Lot1 with Kelvin, Kelvin(yes, 2 kelvins), Ben and Min. then it was homeward bound. haha. that's that. ok, i needa go man. i can't stay up. pray for me guys. God Bless.

day one of the kranji YLMP service learning camp. about me being in a logistics role, haha, that ain't really that difficult, although it was a little messy in the beginning, where i had to juggle the name tags, the camera and everyone's belongings. well, my job here, in a nutshell, is actually, helper/photographer/facilitator.

and so i did get to run around as well. well, Praise the Lord wouldn't you. haha. although this Geocaching session was totally different from the previous one, this one required the teams to go to places like Toa Payoh, Clarke Quay and Bukit Batok Nature Reserve. haha, pity that the group i was dispatched to(Dan's Group) only managed to do the first station. sighs, if not i'd be able to find out what the heck they did at Toa Payoh. haha. this Geocaching seemed to touch more on realistic situations, gambling, teenage pregnancy, etc.

well, i seem to have to juggle these roles again tomorrow. i really wish i can do it right. yeah. ooh, somethign interestingly funny happened to me today, i got stuck in one of the toilet cubicles in the school. -.-" and i had to climb out of it cuz i couldn't really pull the blardy stuck door open, so it was like in those action films lah. haha. great experience. haha.

so after the whle thing ended today, the four of us namely Me, Min, Bing Rong and Thomas had dinner at Pizza Hut at Lot1. (i got a feeling Jasper's gonna flip again.) yup. enjoyed that. ok, shan't elaborate more, i got to go pack stuff for tomorrow, since i'm staying over. yup. that's that.

I enjoyed my day, spent the whole of it out with Min, first we went to Bugis, cuz she had to do stuff there, then headed over to Cineleisure for lunch. Jasper's Favourite; Pastamania. wow, the Meat Lovers Pizza was superb i tell ya. haha. we caught a movie, [Charlotte's Web]. I'll review it later on, then went over to Heeren.

got my Crumpler bag, lol, at last. yay! Praise the Lord! haha. it's orange and brown. haha. interesting/striking huh? haha. love it. then went on shopping. haha. after that, headed for home at about 5 plus.

received news that I won't be a facilitator in the camp this time, ohmygod! i'll be doing logistics this time. sighs, on a bad note, i won't be able to run around playing the Geocaching which this time, is Islandwide! (screams in agony, ok, maybe not agony, so just screams) grr!. but on a good note, it'll be a whole new learning experience. i just hate being torn between the two, doing something I love(playing around with the GPS) and getting a whole new learning experience. sighs, think it's God's plan. so oh well. haha.

good movie, touching, with good values injected into it. this movie was another thing that nearly moved me to tears. haha. the story's about the power of the bond of friendship, and about how a spider tries to save a pig from being slaughtered for Christmas,by prooving to the farmer that this is "some pig". a beloved story about loyalty, friendship and sacrifice. to me, it'd be a must watch.

the movie really showed me what being humble really means, and also the true power of a bond of friendship. i guess i really learnt alot. it's kind of a good thing that sometimes we allow ourselves to see things from another aspect. another point of view. haha. yup. sayonara for now. chill guys, until next time.

ushering in the new year is the first post of the year on Henzy David's blog!!! here is the year of victory!!

ok, last night, the countdown party, everyone was supposed to dress up in Retro. and so we did. haha.

seriously, it was a night to remember. the testimonials that were shared, the testifying of the miracles that were done, nearly moved me to tears. the worship was great, and everybody was jumping around.

the best thing was that i had the chance to celebrate and countdown to the new year with the spiritual family. and the best thing was that at the very moment on the new year, the first thing that we did was to Praise and Worship God! haha! Hallelujah!! Praise the Lord!!

well, the party was really enjoyable. haha, celebrating with the family and all. loved it. haha. loved going around taking pictures. loved going around wishing everyone happy new year, loved jumping around exubirantly worshipping and praising the Lord. haha. Thank God for the family, for this church.

stayed over at EeJay's place that night, and near to didn't sleep at all. haha. or at least, if i could remember,just 2hours. haha. was there with Kelly's cell, DaJie, JuLee, Cheryl, Jasper, Wayne, Michelle, Si Jia and EeJay of course. haha. the few survivors of the night, in order of those who went to sleep, Henzy, Wayne, Si Jia, Jasper and Michelle. haha.

had lunch at Tampines Mall with them too, haha, then went to Jurong Point to search for stuff, and then went home. so here i am now. haha. i better post this post before i get disconnected again. ok, shall fill you in with more details next time. yeah. sayonara for now.
