gah, darn rainy day today. its pouring like mad ever since 1pm today, if i'm not wrong. it was an interesting day for me though, even thru this wet, cold and rainy day. i nearly got knocked down by a car, or rather, i was literally running in front of the car while i tried to cross the road. interesting eh? haha. whatever.
headed for O school, paid up for course and then made a few rounds around the CBD before securing an alternate route to CCK. headed to look for NuEr, then went to Panjang for dinner with Grace(not carmen) and BingRong. it was a great time of fellowship. uber funny. haha. literally. haha. ok, well, i shall end here for now. haha.

it's been a busy day for me. it was first off to douby ghaut to play pool with Shaun, Kelvin, Vivien and Min. and today has got to be the day that my luck is the worst, 8ball went in two times in a row before i cleared all the other balls. haha. oh well. at least I finally finished my match which min, which on 2 other occasions were left unfinished due to interruptions. haha
had dinner at home, was specially requested to do so, then i headed down to Jurong East for awhile to check out some stuff, and headed off to AhPa's place to talk to him for awhile.
besides that, I'm in the process of compiling the Bleach manga. I've currently completed 5% of it. or maybe even less than that. haha. =P haha, well, at least I've compiled like 2 volumes, so another 26 volumes to go. haha. =P

it was quite a nice day. first of all, was a nice SOL2 session with umm, what's his name again, and venelyn. had lunch with my cell bros, ven, wayne and junior. followed by an interesting conversation with ven about dancing in the way to expo, then a great service.
from then, service -> marina -> Kenny Rogers -> Arcade -> Bus Stop -> Home. -> blogging. -> sleep.
haha. that's it. my left hand hurts.

today was quite a nice day. watched The Lakehouse at Min's place with her, Junior and Jinyu. after that, headed to CCK to look for Wei wei nu er, Grace, Huiying and Wei Jie. sat down there for some time, then headed over to Panjang for dinner with Benjamin, Junior and Nu Er. haha. after that, headed for Cell Group. then i got this big pack of Milo. lol, which costs like $2 then headed to AhPa's place to find out that no one was there yet, so sat with Ben at the corridor, then JiaJun appeared, followed by Keith. then the rest. had a great time of CG, then played Citadels! haha.
well. it seems that the week hasn't really been fruitful for me. but it has been a great week. learnt lots of new stuff.
i really feel like posting a very interesting post. but i don't think i can. no idea what to post on. sigh.

ok. practically, i stayed at home the whole day. haha. it was configuring blogs today for me. haha. did some stuff to my blog, not very noticeable changes, besides the song, relinking and moving of a few stuff. haha. other than that, troubkeshooted a few probs with the tribe blog. that's about it.
was suddenly called by Steven Junior, who asked me to meet him at like 10.30pm. and left like, 30mins later. lol. pretty interesting huh? haha. ok. that's that lor. pretty boring day. haha. shall indulge in my box of ferrero rochers once i wake up tml. haha. =P

it was a great time at Ah Pa's place. playing this game which i supposed was called 'Citadels'. great game. love it. rate it at 8.5/10 as one of the best strategy games that I've ever played. I wish i could play it more. haha. but i had to leave, i had a promise to fulfill. haha.
after that, headed to Esplanade to find Grace, Wei Wei and a new friend, who's coincidentally also called David. didn't do much, just walked around, then headed to Panjang again, had dinner and headed for home. haha.
yup. that's my day.

at last, i'm back from the country that's frozen in time! Thank God.
well, i didn't get anything from malaysia, since all the shops were closed. touched down in Singapore at about 5plus 6pm, after going thru the jam which was at the malaysian customs. then took a break, had dinner and headed over to Bukit Panjang to meet up with Ben, WeiWei and Carmen Grace. haha.
had a nice supper at the Cafe Cartel. Viking on the Rock! yup. that's much of what happened. shall blog tomorrow. haha.

Happy Chinese New Year to everyone!
well after spending the whole night out yesterday, Henzy David returns home and sleeps for 5hours straight. haha. congratulations! lol. it was a fun night out. watched [Ghost Rider]. uber cool lah. haha. rating, 4/5. haha. then headed to some bike trail in tampines, then to the road at EXPO for a spin, then to east coast park for a moment, and then to Pasir Ris Park. at this moment, i really thank God for bro Nic Sit! haha. without him, we wouldn't have travelled so far.
in the meantime, Henzy David shall disappear from Singapore for a few hours. about 24 hours plus minus. and he will be missing service. ah!!! which he so hates missing. he shall also try his best to import some chewing gum back for his beloved friends. that's if the shops are open. ok. thus he shall go missing.. haha.. =P

i have to say, i have never played that much Time Crisis in 2 weeks in my life ever than in the past 2 weeks! completed TC3 & 2, but still can't best TC4. ahh!! haha. but this is totally random info. haha. but pretty interesting nonetheless.
The Valentine's Special
couples everywhere, where ever you went, it was a guy and a girl walking around together. as the rest of the world celebrates Valentine's Day, going around giving bouquets of flowers to their girlfriends, giving sweet chocolates to their boyfriends, Henzy David and a bunch of his good friends find themselves at Plaza Singapura once again. having settled dinner, they proceeded to the arcade and played some games, then headed for home.
lol, not much of a productive outing, but nonetheless, i must say, it was fun. haha. but today, I'm not talking about the outing. instead, I'm talking about Valentine's Day. haha. yes, no doubt, i too feel the strain of this oh-so-great-day, it's especially today that makes you feel, without a partner, you're so lonely. you admire those gifts that they send to each other, those expensive flowers, those high class chocolates(i dun mind having some too, if i say so myself. i LOVE chocolate! and thanks Vivien for those two sticks, although shared with the whole group) etc, etc. the list goes on.
i don't know, if it were the me a few years back, i think I'd do the same. but what exactly is one leaning on? what exactly does one want? compassion? companionship? acceptance? love? as for me, i think i choose to lean on God. true, what the world has to offer is so much greater, so much more enjoyable. but they're so temporal. you can say I'm naive thinking this way, but that's what I think. I've got the Everlasting Father, I've got something that will last forever, a love that will last till the end.
truthfully, I'd love to have what those people out there have too, but I choose to remain in my state of nonchalance to these issues for the time being, cuz I know I have someone so much better who's always there for me. One who isn't temporal but eternal. One who won't betray me, but will be with me till the end. One who paid for my life using His most precious. I don't think anyone on this earth could do that. that's why it's a joy to know that I have His love and support. It's a Joy to have Him in my Life.
note: Henzy David isn't an unemotional idiot, he still feels weird with no one on valentine's day.
Absorbing the Chinese New Year Atmosphere
the approaching Chinese New Year calls for a time like this. and no doubt, I surely enjoyed it. haha. with the accompaniment of 4Js, Joadine DaJie, JuLee, Jaren and Junior(Steven), Henzy David found himself amidst the streets of Chinatown on a cool Tuesday night, fellowshipping in the CNY atmosphere.
it was a great experience, being his first time in Chinatown during this period of time, Henzy David couldn't help but enjoy it. haha. all the shouts, sights, smells and water(yes, water. there was some fountain, water show in the middle of the road.) couldn't help but make his experience all the better. now, he shall let the pictures do the talking, as he has had done enough of the typing.

seems that Henzy David hasn't been blogging for quite awhile huh? reasons, explanations and excuses, maybe it's a good time that you guys came in. haha.
well, basically, Henzy David has been a very busy guy. settling, and still settling. yup. shall update another time. like, tomorrow maybe. haha. see how things go lor.

well, being an ~umm, can't think of a word~ person, i decided to come back. well, it's been a busy week. with Church, Trybe and the collection of the O level results on my schedule, it's no wonder I don't have time to come and blog. but it's been a fruitful week nonetheless.
although I'm not exactly satisfied with my O level results(having achieved 25 points for my L1R4, and sadly enough, scoring B3 for my English Language, in which i hoped for better outcomes), but I'm still glad that God has blessed me with them. Besides, it's a good grade, not that bad, yet not that good either, so it's a good thing. plus, i'm eligible for 188 different kind of courses from both polytechnics and ITE(consisting of the course that I wanted, Multimedia Animation). So Henzy David, Be Glad!
besides that, i've come to know a few interesting characters due to the Trybe HuaYi You Can Do It run last saturday. namely, Khong Carmen Grace, Wei Wei nu er, and Fiona. yea. shall not comment much on them, just that they're very very nice people. =P

so, i'm like counting down, 14hours and 37mins until the judgement arrives. lol. so what am i doing before the judgement you may ask. lol. i would be happily enjoying my ramen! while listening to J-Pop music on my windows media player.
interestingly, my current feelings are of somewhere between confidence and nothingness. haha. i choose to have faith in my Lord, believing for my results tomorrow. haha. well, at least i know i did my best for this one. =D whatever shall happen shall happen. haha. my faith shall be unmoved! hahaha. filled with the joy of the Lord, and the ecstatic-ness due to consumption of chocolate at such a late hour, is a Henzy David that's rapidly changing into a crazy nut. haha. i mean, my emotions are running wild inside of me, desperately trying to find a way out. i mean it in a good way. hahahaha, laughs insanely. lol. wahahahahaha, wahahahahaha. haha.
ooh, just how interesting the simplicity of life can be. how i wish i could use the pocky sticks in my hand as darts. haha. ooh, that was random. lol! but whatever. hahahahahahha. in fact, the title of this post is called, "The Crazy Nut". instantaneously referring to myself. haha. ooh, i just used a big word. lol.
i am so in love with shopping man. haha. so love to walk around malls just browsing through shirts, pants, jackets and all the things imaginable to henzy david, namely gundams, arcade games, PC games, ipods, anime, music cds and the like.
had dinner with a bunch of the trybe facs just now, Carls Jr.! haha. then went walking around marina square. well, would most probably meet up with eileen and jasper tml. haha. i'll just be looking around then. lol, i want that limited edition black Billabong Jacket with hood that's super big and comfortable and costs $99.90. haha. oh well. i'd be making my way to either Fourskin, Flesh Imp or Accidental Protrait. haha. if not, it'd be surf brands for me. haha.

it seems that after the Montfort YLMP camp held by Trybe, Henzy David has become a much louder, abit more direct, and more pun-ful than ever person. so let's talk about the camp first.
Montfort Camp
Day 1 : well, starting from thurday, the camp was already a little out of control. judging by the very active students from Montfort Sec sch, which were more than what we asked for. haha. i was tasked to lead a group of 15 of these kind of youths. *just imagine that with me for awhile won't you. haha.* *okay, that's enough imagining* haha. yup. the first day was still managable by far. haha, with the project management talks, then the high elements and then the all so great and God-presence-filled Sanctification weekend where i cried my heart out and still felt that there were more tears that were gonna come out. haha. love it.
Day 2 : so it was that Island Hunt thing again. with a few of the GPS locations messed up. but still nonetheless fun. i felt that this was the turning point, where i shared stuff, and the students really understood it. i could feel that something was stirring in them, haha, like a life being changed. totally awesome. haha. well. it was a BBQ dinner that night. and i was like BBQ-ing for the facilitators and the parents. and i daresay that i've nearly mastered the art of BBQ-ing hotdogs. haha. gosh, i loved those hotdogs. haha.
didn't sleep that night, well, because i was up for nearly the whole night, punning with a pair of ppl from SMU, namely, Eileen Quek! and WeiLin. haha. lol, we were like laughing at every sentence cuz there was like a double meaning to them. haha. and that lasted thru the night. haha. well, it did last till about 4 plus 5 or so. haha. then we like concussed on the spot. haha. but it was enjoyable nonetheless. haha.
Day 3 : this was the day that was much anticipated, by both students and facilitators(if i dare say so myself. haha). the day of break-camp. haha. but it was a good day. it was the day that i really felt that the students in my group really understood my heart for them. i shared with them what i felt, i shared with them that i believed in them no matter what would happen, and that they had potential and could achieve anything they set their hearts to. and i really feel that they understood and were moved by my words, Eileen even cried, well, not because of me but because she was abit emotional at that time. haha. yes, so at the end of the day, lives were changed. thank God for that. =D i achieved what i went there for. haha.

Sunday of Busy-ness
it seems that my sundays are always the busiest days for me. but i love em the most.
Morning : SOL2, woke up at 9am, and rushed down, if not i'd had forgotten about it. the funny thing was also that i subconsciously only logged off MSN last night, but didn't turn off the laptop. lol
Afternoon : Service, awesome service. really felt the word was for me.
Evening : It was celebrating Jessica's b'day at Swensons at the Airport. too bad i didn't get any pictures. but, it was great. Happy Birthday Jess!! haha.
