i have to say, i have never played that much Time Crisis in 2 weeks in my life ever than in the past 2 weeks! completed TC3 & 2, but still can't best TC4. ahh!! haha. but this is totally random info. haha. but pretty interesting nonetheless.
The Valentine's Special
couples everywhere, where ever you went, it was a guy and a girl walking around together. as the rest of the world celebrates Valentine's Day, going around giving bouquets of flowers to their girlfriends, giving sweet chocolates to their boyfriends, Henzy David and a bunch of his good friends find themselves at Plaza Singapura once again. having settled dinner, they proceeded to the arcade and played some games, then headed for home.
lol, not much of a productive outing, but nonetheless, i must say, it was fun. haha. but today, I'm not talking about the outing. instead, I'm talking about Valentine's Day. haha. yes, no doubt, i too feel the strain of this oh-so-great-day, it's especially today that makes you feel, without a partner, you're so lonely. you admire those gifts that they send to each other, those expensive flowers, those high class chocolates(i dun mind having some too, if i say so myself. i LOVE chocolate! and thanks Vivien for those two sticks, although shared with the whole group) etc, etc. the list goes on.
i don't know, if it were the me a few years back, i think I'd do the same. but what exactly is one leaning on? what exactly does one want? compassion? companionship? acceptance? love? as for me, i think i choose to lean on God. true, what the world has to offer is so much greater, so much more enjoyable. but they're so temporal. you can say I'm naive thinking this way, but that's what I think. I've got the Everlasting Father, I've got something that will last forever, a love that will last till the end.
truthfully, I'd love to have what those people out there have too, but I choose to remain in my state of nonchalance to these issues for the time being, cuz I know I have someone so much better who's always there for me. One who isn't temporal but eternal. One who won't betray me, but will be with me till the end. One who paid for my life using His most precious. I don't think anyone on this earth could do that. that's why it's a joy to know that I have His love and support. It's a Joy to have Him in my Life.
note: Henzy David isn't an unemotional idiot, he still feels weird with no one on valentine's day.
Absorbing the Chinese New Year Atmosphere
the approaching Chinese New Year calls for a time like this. and no doubt, I surely enjoyed it. haha. with the accompaniment of 4Js, Joadine DaJie, JuLee, Jaren and Junior(Steven), Henzy David found himself amidst the streets of Chinatown on a cool Tuesday night, fellowshipping in the CNY atmosphere.
it was a great experience, being his first time in Chinatown during this period of time, Henzy David couldn't help but enjoy it. haha. all the shouts, sights, smells and water(yes, water. there was some fountain, water show in the middle of the road.) couldn't help but make his experience all the better. now, he shall let the pictures do the talking, as he has had done enough of the typing.
